Dr. DeDecker earned his Bachelor of Science in Zoology with a minor in Chemistry at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery at the prestigious University of California San Francisco, graduating number 2 in his class. While attending, he worked and taught in the Department of Anatomy. He continued on for his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery again at the University of California San Francisco. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He has conducted numerous seminars on dental implants, orthognathic surgery, and oral pathology. He has lectured both nationally and internationally on dental implants and bone reconstruction.
He lives in Kaysville, Utah with his wife Sherilyn and has four children - Troy, Tamara, Michael and Michelle.

Dr. DeDecker loves sports of all kinds and has participated in football, baseball, basketball, track and field and swimming. He was the Conference Diving Champion as a freshman in college.
